Privacy policy

1. Who's responsible for your data

Kevin López, an individual doing business as "Godrim" (published on Google Play as RG Studio MX, "we"), is responsible for processing your personal data. You can reach us at soporte@godrim.com with any question about this policy or how your information is handled.

2. What we collect

We only collect what's necessary to run the app and this website:

Account data: your email and password, or — if you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook — the name and email those providers share with us.
Financial data you enter: your planned transactions (income, expenses, savings, loans, credit), categories, budgets, dreams and plans, and any bank account details you choose to enter manually (name, type, currency, balance, and, if you add it, the account number).
Statements you upload: if you attach a bank statement file (PDF, CSV, or image), we store it privately, tied to your account, so you can access it later.
Security PIN: if you set up a PIN or biometric unlock (Face ID/Touch ID) to protect access to the app, we store an encrypted version of the PIN and which biometric method you use — never your actual fingerprint or face, which your device handles.
Notifications: if you enable notifications, we store a technical device identifier (push token) so we can send them to you.
Subscription: your current subscription tier. Apple, Google, or RevenueCat process the payment directly — Godrim never sees or stores your card number.
Website usage: which pages you view on godrim.com, how far you get in the onboarding conversation and the signup form, which links and buttons you click, which ad or link brought you here (the UTM parameters in the address), and technical details such as your browser, your device, and the approximate country and city derived from your IP address. All of it is stored under a random identifier rather than your name — section 5 explains how that works and how to turn it off.

3. How we use it

Run your account and show you your transactions, dreams, and plans.
Use AI to generate plan suggestions for your financial dreams based on the data you give us (see section 4).
Send you progress notifications, if you enabled them.
Process your subscription and apply the corresponding benefits.
Provide support when you reach out.
Meet legal obligations and prevent fraud.

We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it to third parties.

4. Who we share it with

We don't share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do work with providers who process data on our behalf, strictly to run the service:

Supabase — authentication and database.
OpenAI — when you use the dream-planning assistant, we send the context needed (e.g. your dream's cost, income, and expenses) to generate the plan suggestion.
Amazon Web Services (S3) — storage for statements you upload.
PostHog — measuring how this website and the onboarding conversation are used, so we know which content helps and which campaigns bring you here.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Expo — push notification delivery.
Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — payment and subscription processing.

We only share what each provider strictly needs to do its job, and we may disclose information if legally required to.

5. Cookies and browser storage

When you land on godrim.com we store a cookie on the godrim.com domain and an entry in your browser's local storage. Both hold a random identifier rather than your name or email, and they're what lets us tell that the pages you're viewing belong to the same visit, and remember which campaign you arrived from.

The onboarding conversation and the signup form don't live on godrim.com — they're served from widget.godrim.com — so that same random identifier travels in that page's address, which is what lets your visit to the site and the account you create there count as one person rather than two strangers. Only the identifier travels, never your name, your email, or anything you type into the conversation, and it's removed from the address as soon as the page has read it.

That identifier is persistent: it recognizes you when you come back later, and if you create an account we link it to that account — which is how we know which ad or link brought you as far as signing up. We don't currently act on your browser's "Do Not Track" signal.

You can clear or block that cookie and that data whenever you like from your browser's settings, and the site keeps working exactly the same.

6. Security

We protect access to your account with secure authentication and access controls, and all communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We're continuing to strengthen protection for the most sensitive data you store — like a bank account number you choose to enter — and if you prefer extra privacy, you can use Godrim with just an account's name, type, and balance, without adding the full account number.

7. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, including deleting your account and everything tied to it. Email soporte@godrim.com and we'll take care of it.

8. Children

Godrim isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under that age.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make a material update to this policy, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
